In the middle of the Atlantic, a green volcanic island in bloom, where summer stays mild and whales pass offshore.
The Azores are the antidote to scorching southern summers: 25 degrees in August, untouched nature, and an island, São Miguel, covered in hydrangeas and crater lakes.
You play on courses framed by cryptomeria forests with views of the ocean, then head out to see whales or bathe in the hot springs of Furnas.

Batalha Golf Course
Batalha, on São Miguel, is the reference course of the archipelago, rated 9 out of 10 by golfers on Leading Courses. Its forest-lined fairways look out over the Atlantic.
Day by day
- Day 1Arrival in Ponta Delgada. Flight with a stop, transfer, welcome dinner.
- Day 2Batalha. First round facing the Atlantic.
- Day 3Whales. Boat trip to watch whales and dolphins.
- Day 4Furnas. Hot springs and cozido cooked in the volcanic ground.
- Day 5Friendly competition. Round in competition format, end-of-trip dinner.
- Day 6Return. The lakes of Sete Cidades, then flight home.
