Courses by the Mediterranean, Greek temples an hour away, and Sicilian food every evening.
In spring Sicily is green and in bloom, and already 20 degrees. It is the best time to combine golf, heritage and food, before the summer heat.
Our trip is based on the south-west coast, between vineyards and the sea, close to the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento.
The course
Verdura Resort
The courses of Verdura Resort, by the sea near Sciacca, are among the most renowned in Italy. For a stay on the east side, Il Picciolo is played at the foot of Mount Etna.
Day by day
- Day 1Arrival in Palermo. Flight, transfer to the south coast, welcome dinner.
- Day 2Verdura, first course. First round by the sea.
- Day 3Agrigento. The Valley of the Temples, lunch at a wine estate.
- Day 4Friendly competition. Round in competition format, end-of-trip dinner.
- Day 5Return. Free morning, flight home.
