While Europe shivers, you play facing the Indian Ocean, between a turquoise lagoon and the mountains of the south.
In January it is high summer in Mauritius. The days are long and warm, the lagoon is at 28 degrees, and the island's courses are among the finest in the Indian Ocean.
Our trip is based in the south, wilder than the touristy north: cliffs, sugar cane fields and Creole villages, a few minutes from the greens.
The course
La Réserve Golf Links
Named number one on the island by Top 100 Golf Courses, this links winds between the sea and the hills of Bel Ombre. A spectacular course, demanding when the wind blows off the ocean.
